Red Reblooming Bearded Iris War Chief

War Chief is a red reblooming bearded iris that absolutely glows in the sunlight. It’s rare to find a red colorfast Iris that won’t fade in full sun, but Iris War Chief meets the challenge head on, firing up every garden where it’s planted. During spring and fall War Chief’s deep burgundy petals with striking indigo veins and a bright yellow beard set your garden aflame!

Our iris are grown on a family farm in Bakersfield, California. Each summer we dig up the large, fist-sized iris rhizomes, trim their 20 inch roots, inspect them, and send only the best to you. Plants are primed to hit the ground running with 4-5 flowering stems per Iris bulb.
